Privacy Policy
This site compares whale shark swims, island combos and day trips out of La Paz. Reading it needs no account and shares almost nothing about you. The little that is collected is set out below.
Booking A Tour
No payment is taken on this site. Every tour button leads to a live booking page, and once there, that service's privacy terms govern your details, not ours.
Cookies Used Here
- Analytics cookies, when active, tally visits in aggregate. No single reader is identified or tracked across pages.
- A referral cookie tells the booking service which site sent you over. It carries a tracking code and nothing more than that.
Where Data Ends Up
We keep no user accounts and no booking records of our own. Messages to our contact address are used solely to reply and are never shared.
What Gets Collected
The site gathers very little on its own. Standard server logs note which pages were requested, the browser type and a shortened network address, which keeps things running and helps catch errors. Nothing in those logs builds a profile of any reader.
If you email the contact address, your message and address are kept only as long as it takes to reply and resolve what you raised. They are never sold, rented or put on a mailing list.
Third-Party Services
- Booking services receive you when a tour link is followed. What they gather from that point on falls under their own privacy terms, not this page.
- Map tiles shown near the departure-point notes load from a public map provider, which sees the request your browser sends for them.
- Analytics, when switched on, report aggregate visit counts and never name or single out individual readers.
Your Choices
Your browser can block or delete cookies whenever you like, and the pages keep working with them off. To ask what we hold about you, or to have a sent message erased, write to the contact address and the request will be handled.
Children And Updates
This site speaks to adults comparing whale shark swims in La Paz, and nothing is knowingly collected from children. If these terms are ever revised, the newer wording is the one that counts.
